Sour Raspberry Watermelon — Taste & Profile
Tart raspberry leads with a sour kick, then juicy watermelon sweetens and rounds the finish. Sweetness sits at 7/10 with a real sour front and minimal cool (2/10), so it reads sweet-and-sour and juicy rather than iced. The watermelon balances the sour raspberry.
| Sweetness | ███████░░░ 7/10 |
| Cooling | ██░░░░░░░░ 2/10 |
How Sour Is Sour Raspberry Watermelon, Really?
Sour here means front-loaded, not puckering. The tartness lands on the inhale and has mostly resolved by the time watermelon takes over, which is why the sweetness reads 7/10 rather than the 8-9/10 the candy SKUs carry. It is the raspberry doing the sour work — watermelon is the softener, and it carries the back half of the draw almost on its own.
There are three watermelon-based sours on the DC25000 and the difference is entirely in the partner fruit. Sour Apple Watermelon swaps in green apple, which is sharper and drier. Sour Watermelon Peach moves the sour onto the watermelon itself and lets peach do the rounding, so it finishes softest of the three. Raspberry sits in the middle: brighter than peach, rounder than apple. Anyone stepping into the sour line for the first time usually finds this the easiest of the three to sit with all day.
